The Art in the Windows event is an innovative festival taking place from 22nd May to 6th June. Clarkston Town Centre is being transformed into a unique art gallery where the artwork of local artists, groups and schools will be displayed in unexpected venues throughout Clarkston town centre.

This is the first of many events that could take place in Clarkston if the Business Improvement District goes ahead. The Clarkston BID will undertake a range of activities, if successful, which include a programme of marketing activity to promote Clarkston, a review of the parking arrangements, the introduction of a shop front improvement scheme and much more.

Art in the Windows has caught the imagination of the many local artists, groups and schools. The following are displaying artwork in the festival.

Busby Primary School, Carolside Primary School, Isobel Mair, Netherlee Primary School, St Josephs Primary School, Williamwood High School and St Ninians High School Eastwood Art Club, East Renfrewshire Art Club, Glasgow Southern Art Club, Busby Art Group.

Many prominent local artists are taking part in the festival.
